Foodduck Ltd has supported the Green Flag programme of FEE Finland (Foundation for Environmental Education) for several years. Green Flag is an international sustainable development programme coordinated by FEE Finland. It is also an environmental certificate that can be granted for schools, day-care centres and other educational actors. Green Flag is part of the international Eco-Schools programme, which is the world’s largest network of schools for sustainable development.
As part of the cooperation, Foodduck donated three scholarships that were granted for exemplary Green Flag actors, selected by FEE Finland. These scholarships are recognition of high-quality and inclusive environmental work that is exemplary in the national context. The other award criteria include involvement of children and young people in activities, as well as communication and cooperation with families and actors in the surrounding area.
The scholarships were awarded to the Pikkuprinssi day-care centre in Helsinki, the Vuores-talo school in Tampere and the Sagalund Children’s Cultural Center in Kemiönsaari. Congratulations to all!
