WHAT IS A SPREAD DISPENSER?

A spread dispenser is a device that brings a completely new way to distribute spreads at restaurant bread buffets and service counters.

HOW IS FOODDUCK® ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?

The FOODDUCK system is a responsible alternative to conventional spread packages and other forms of dispensing spreads.We have specially developed an ecological dispensing package that contains no aluminium and significantly less plastic than traditional solutions. In this way FOODDUCK creates much less packaging waste than normal box packages.

Accurate portion sizes and effective use of all of the spread in the package also lead to great reductions in the amount of waste. In addition to these advantages, there are knock-on effects throughout the product’s life-cycle – from production to waste disposal.

WHY USE FOODDUCK?

FOODDUCK has many advantages that cannot be attained with currently available spread dispensing options. FOODDUCK is ecological, it’s designed to bring cost savings to restaurants, and it makes spreading much more hygienic and neater.

FOODDUCK can be safely used, for example, by people with Coeliac disease, because the spread is always protected from breadcrumbs. In addition, FOODDUCK helps dining queues to move quicker, while in school canteens, for example, a portion size of a specific nutritional value can be administered to every pupil.

FOODDUCK also makes it possible to offer other spreads, and thus allows restaurants to provide a wider selection.

HOW MUCH DOES FOODDUCK COST?

We lease the FOODDUCK devices to our customers, with the cost defined individually per customer based on the scale of their operations and the terms of our partnership. As a service agreement is included in the lease cost, we can guarantee that our customers always have a fully functioning device.

IS THE FOODDUCK EASY TO USE?

Making FOODDUCK easy and pleasant to use is one of the cornerstones of its design. The user simply places the slice of bread or a plate under the nozzle, and FOODDUCK automatically dispenses the spread. It is also easy for the restaurant personnel to change the spread package and clean the device.

WHERE IS FOODDUCK MADE?

FOODDUCK is made in Finland, our home country. This is a matter of honour for us and an important element in the FOODDUCK brand. The device has been granted the Key Flag Symbol, indicating that it is manufactured in Finland and that it represents Finnish know-how, quality and trustworthiness.

The FOODDUCK spread dispenser has also been granted the Design from Finland mark, a sister symbol to the Key Flag.

WHERE IS FOODDUCK USED?

FOODDUCK is suitable for use at bread buffets or service counters, in staff restaurants and lunch buffets. School canteens, coffee shops and hotel breakfast buffets all over the world are other examples of places where FOODDUCK can bring benefits.

The FOODDUCK system can also be used in professional kitchens, for example, when you need to produce large numbers of take-away sandwiches.
